'Trauma, Emotion and Healing'
Dr. Kathryn Rheem, ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer, Director of the Washington Baltimore Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy (WBCEFT) for the last seven years, has trained hundreds of mental health clinicians in EFT nationally and internationally.
She has been a student of EFT since 2002, has been using this empirically-validated approach exclusively in private practice since 2005, and continues to study and learn the model daily. Along with her mentor Dr. Sue Johnson, originator of EFT, Kathryn’s best teachers of this humanistic, attachment-based model are the couples she works with weekly in private practice. Together, Sue & Kathryn created Strong Bonds, Strong Couples, LLC, which provided EFT-based weekend retreats for Soldiers & Marines coming home from the wars Iraq and Afghanistan and their partners at military installations in the U.S. and abroad. Kathryn has trained U.S. Army Chaplains & European Regional Medical Command in EFT and consults monthly with the U.S. Veterans Administration. She works extensively with couples where one or both partners have endured trauma and has written and presented on the application of EFT with trauma numerous times. Kathryn was voted a Top Couples Therapist in Washington, D.C. by the Washingtonian magazine in December 2012. A clinical fellow and approved Supervisor of AAMFT, she has written nine articles/chapters on the application of EFT.

Dr. Leanne Campbell, ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer, is co-director of the Vancouver Island Centre for EFT and Campbell & Fairweather Psychology Group, and is an Honorary Research Associate of Vancouver Island University.
Trained by Dr. Sue Johnson in the early 1990s, she has continued to focus on trauma, grief, and couple and family therapy since that time. In addition to teaching and training in these areas, and working with hundreds of couples and families over the years, she also specializes in providing psychological assessments, as well as psychotherapy and crisis intervention services to client populations including active military and veterans and their families, first responders, injured workers, and individuals who have suffered various types of developmental trauma. Known for her expertise in the area of trauma, Dr. Campbell was provided hundreds of psychological assessment reports for forensic/legal and personal injury matters being considered before various levels of Court. She is also regularly called upon to provide expert opinion surrounding Canadian Forces Base, Veterans Affairs Canada, Royal Canadian Mounted Police/RCMP (and other first responders/cases, as well as consistently providing psychological evaluations for various insurance companies and bodies involved adjudicating personal injury and other trauma based claims. Now managing a full-time practice comprised of over twenty personnel, Dr. Campbell has focused on more specifically on clinical practice and training.

Dr. David Fairweather, ICEEFT Certified EFT Trainer, is co-founder and co-director of the Vancouver Island Centre for EFT and Campbell & Fairweather Psychology Group. His passion for emotion in psychotherapy dates back to his doctoral years during which he published widely in the area of psychotherapy process research, with a particular focus on how exemplary, distinguished therapists promote and use strong feeling expression in sessions. From 1996 until 2006, in addition to maintaining a private practice, David worked as a psychologist and supervising psychologist within the federal correctional system. During his past 20 years in private practice in Nanaimo, he has focused extensively on the treatment of law enforcement personnel, other first responders, serving military and veterans, injured workers, as well as providing hundreds of psychological assessments in areas including trauma, personal injury, work injury, and for other forensic contexts. He has also served as an expert witness at various levels of court. Trained by Dr. Sue Johnson, co-originator of EFT, in the early 1990s, he has maintained a dedicated interest in EFT therapy for almost three decades. Known for his empathic style and therapeutic use of laughter and humour, and with a particular expertise and interest in working with trauma and attachment injury, he helps couples move away from the rigid negative patterns that keep them stuck, and toward a place of authentic emotional contact. As an internationally certified ICEEFT trainer, he has also collaborated in the development of teaching materials including online media and DVDs, and has served extensively as an instructor, mentor, and supervisor of other mental health professionals in Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
Jennifer Olden, MFT, ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor with a private practice in Sacramento, California. She specialises in working with couples and her interests focus on trauma recovery through strengthening attachments. She provides EFT supervision. She facilitated several EFT training groups, specifically the EFT Lab and an EFT certification class. She is currently teaching EFT online with Dr. Kathryn Rheem, EFT trainer, in the EFT Cafe. She earned her Bachelor degree in English from California State University Chico and her Master in Marriage and Family Therapy at California State University Sacramento.
Gulya Diyarova, MSc Tavistock, UKCP, Accred. COSRT, MBACP, ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor, London UK. Gulya Diyarova is an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused therapist and supervisor, and a psychosexual and relationship therapist. Her first career in Moscow was as a medical doctor, paediatrician and clinical neurologist. She moved to the UK in 1993 and later retrained in Systemic therapy, Psychodynamic approach, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Early Attachment and Psychopathology, and as a Psychosexual therapist. Gulya was instrumental in bringing EFT to the UK and has been organising EFT training in London since 2009 in conjunction with ICEEFT. She is a founding member of the British EFT Community (BEFT Community). She supervises EFT therapists, leads EFT workshops, CPD groups and Advanced Externship training (Option 1 towards EFT Certification), and has a private practice in London. She is Director of the EFT International School.
