Dates: 28th Nov - 1st Dec 2018 with Gail Palmer, EFT Trainer and supervisor Venue: TBC
Advanced Core Skills training is composed of four two-day modules (Core Skills 1-4) focusing on the core skills of each of the EFT steps. Each day will include practical instruction, experiential exercises, video examples, and case consultation and trainer/group supervision of EFT work according to the guidelines set out by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). Each workshop provides 12 hours of training. Those who complete Core Skills Training meet the requirements for an advanced externship and group supervision necessary to apply for certification as an EFT therapist. Participants can also receive credit following the presentation of their own work through videotape or audiotape (accompanied by a transcript) ONCE through the four weekends – a requirement for EFT Certification.
Participants are required: - To have completed an ICEEFT-approved 4-day EFT externship, - Be willing to participate in role plays and exercises, - To present their own work once through audio or video recorded presentation, - Maintain an active therapy practice that includes using EFT approach, - Acquire a signed release form from couples to record (video/audio) and permission to use this material as a part of the consultation prior to presenting material in the training sessions (an example will be provided), - Seek EFT individual supervision to support and maintain EFT-focused work.
Cost of training (including handouts, 'Live' session, tea/coffee breaks): £760 for two modules (£190 per day), can be paid in two installments.
